Wednesday, 27th October, 2010, Mumbai : The Board Meeting of Shriram Transport Finance Company Limited (STFC), the largest asset financing NBFC in the country, was held today to consider the Unaudited financial results for the second quarter ended 30th. September, 2010.
The Net Interest Income for the second quarter ended 30th. September, 2010 surged by 42.93% to Rs. 752.68 crores as against Rs. 526.61 crores recorded in the same period previous year. The profit after tax rose by 44.11% to Rs. 298.96 crores as against Rs. 207.45 crores recorded in the same period previous year. The earning per share surged by 35.31% to Rs. 13.26 from Rs. 9.80 recorded in the same period earlier year.
Interim Dividend :
The Board declared an Interim Dividend of Rs. 2.50 (25%) per share, the Record Date for the entitlement thereof has been fixed as November 09, 2010. The dividend payout would absorb a sum of Rs. 65.75 crores( including dividend tax). Total Assets under Management as on 30th. September, 2010 stood at Rs. 31,706.82 crores as compared to Rs. 30,233.32 crores as on 30th. June, 2010. The aforesaid figures are stand-alone financial results of the Company.
